Your new role

As a Supply Inventory Planner at RoslinCT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations by overseeing the procurement of raw materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and implementing efficient inventory management systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing raw materials from approved sources to meet production planning and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Reconciliation of all stock holdings and real-time reporting to clients.
  • Supporting the transition from inventory management by spreadsheets to the implementation of a new electronic system.
  • Partnering with procurement to resolve conflicts/problems with suppliers.
  • Establishing and managing agreements with suppliers such as service level agreements and quality agreements.
  • Collaborating with Quality Control and Quality Assurance departments to ensure continuous supply of approved materials and adherence to GMP standards.
  • Facilitating customs clearance of imported supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensuring effective communication between clients, operational departments, and third-party service providers.
  • Creating, developing, and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Strict compliance with national and international regulations and GMP standards at all stages of the Supply Chain.
  • Undertaking all distribution activities in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Adhering to HR policies and procedures.
  • Using FEFO management for on-site inventory.
  • Reporting KPIs to management and clients.
  • Partnering with suppliers to identify capacity and complete scenario planning in the event of constrained supply.
  • Execution activities including PO management, expediting, and issue management.

Job requirements

About you

You will ideally possess:

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of sales and operations planning (S&OP).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office products, especially excellent Excel skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to create a positive environment through self-awareness and social skills.
  • Effective management and influence over stakeholders’ and customer expectations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a real desire to continually develop and improve processes.
