Office Administrator

Location: You will be based predominantly at our site at the Edinburgh BioQuarter, Little France, however, there will be occasions where you will need to work from one of our other sites in Edinburgh. We therefore require the successful candidate to have a full UK driving licence.

Your new role

  • We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team!
  • You will report to the Office Manager and will support all RoslinCT sites across Edinburgh. As a member of the team, you will be involved in all departments of the company providing administrative support and undertaking general office responsibilities.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • General office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and archiving.
    • Maintain and update filing and archiving systems.
    • Order stationery and maintain stock levels.
    • Diary management; departmental diary, meeting room diaries.
    • Organise meetings, conferences, and training courses including catering where required.
    • Organise events for RoslinCT, both business and social.
    • Book attendance at conferences, organise travel & accommodation where required.
    • First point of contact for incoming calls to RoslinCT and field calls to the relevant person or department as appropriate.
    • Meet & greet visitors as the face of RoslinCT and direct them appropriately whilst presenting a professional and organised image.
    • Assist other departments when required.
    • Manage the external mail for RoslinCT and organise couriers.

Job requirements

About you

  • Experience in working in administration and general office responsibilities.
  • Excellent administration and record keeping skills.
  • Reliable with a discrete attitude to the work involved.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office with excellent typing skills.
  • Capable of representing the company when dealing with suppliers and clients.
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to work to deadline and be fluid in completing tasks.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
